Hanuman Jayanti 2024, celebrated with fervor and devotion, marks the birth anniversary of Lord Hanuman, the epitome of strength, courage, and devotion in Hindu mythology. This auspicious occasion holds profound significance for devotees who revere Lord Hanuman as a symbol of unwavering dedication and selfless service.
Twice a year, people commemorate Hanuman Jayanti 2024. One occurs on the day of the full moon in the Shukla Paksha’s Chaitra month, and the other on the fourteenth day of the Krishna Paksha’s Kartik month. The reason for celebrating the first Hanuman Jayanti is that it marks the birth of Lord Hanuman from the womb of Mata Anjani, and the second Hanuman Jayanti, which falls one day before Diwali, marks the day that Mata Sita bestowed upon Hanuman the gift of immortality in recognition of his everlasting devotion.

Hanuman ji’s birth story
The scriptures tell us that King Dasharatha divided among the three queens the kheer that Agnidev received following the Purnahuti in the Yagya of Sage Shringi. In the meantime, an eagle arrived, tucked a bowl of Prasad Kheer into its beak, and took off. On Kishkindha mountain, Anjani Mata was worshiping Lord Shiva when a portion of the kheer dropped into her lap. It is thought that as a result, Goddess Anjani gave birth to Hanuman Ji.
