Ashwin Purnima Vrat Puja Vidhi

Temples conduct unique worship ceremonies on this Purnima. They are listed in the following order:

• Make a morning vow to fast and bathe in a holy lake, river, or pond.
• Adorn the god with exquisite apparel and accessories. Make a call to the gods (Avahan) by sitting (Asana) and engaging in Achaman (the purifying procedure that comes before puja). Worship the god afterward and give them garments, perfume, flowers, rice (akshat), lamps (Diya), naivedyam, Tambul (betel or paan), and Dakshina.
• Combine sugar and ghee with cow milk pudding (Kheer), and present it to the gods in the middle of the night.  When the moon is in the center of the sky at night, worship Lord Chandra and present Kheer as Naivedyam. 
• At night, keep the Kheer Vessel under the moonlight. The following day, eat it and give it to others as prasad.
• The Ashwin Purnima Katha is worth listening to. Before that, place rice and Roli in a Dona (a plate made with broad dried leaves), wheat grains in a glass, and water in a metal saucepan. Next, present Dakshina to Kalash, the metal pot, and worship it.
• On this day, honor God Kartikeya, Goddess Parvati, and God Shiva.
